Fuori Salone 2010

Milan, April 14-19th 2010

Angélique DeVil. Eros and Design. A feminine perspective for the Fuori Salone 2010.

On the occasion of Milan Furniture Fair 2010 (from April 14th to 19th) Angélique DeVil, the concept store of luxury products belonging to the sensual-erotic field in via Cerva, introduces two exclusive projects matching sinuous shapes and feminine desires: “Voluttuose confessioni” and “The Flower’s Choice”.
Opening Cocktail on Thursday April 15th, at 6:00 p.m, with Veuve Clicquot.

"Voluttuose confessioni" by Catherine Faity shows, through furnishings and sensual pictures, an embroider’s story revealing from deep inside “"les rèves les plus fou". Needle-and-thread become universal tools chosen by the artist to speak about Eroticism. “La chaise de l’amour” is a triumph of libertine spirit: the chair, decorated with embroidery and ribbons, accessorized with ropes and tickler, is ideal for a game in two. The chaise longue "La berceuse de l'amour" is a pleasure cradle. Made of painted wood and embroidered fabric, it comes together with a whip. The pictures represent the moments before and after love: the man is not there, she’s the only one on the scene, because her pleasure is not only during the act.

"The Flower’s Choice: lascia che il tuo Fiore scelga il suo Vaso” a project by Laura Buddensieg asks artists and designers their erotic interpretation of a wall vase, the ideal location for any “flower”.
The wall vases, reproducing male shapes, become receiving containers: the ones who choose are the flowers. To each his own, in a perspective playing with roles and erotic gestures.
The exhibited works and the artists: “Hopla!” by Atelier Almayér (ByHe), “Flauto” by Atelier Almayér (ByShe), “Mettete dei fiori nei vostri cannoni” by Antonio Barrese, “Balle Spaziali” by Mattia Bosco, “Agapi Mou” and “Poulaki Mou” by Laura Buddensieg, “Billo” by Andrea Rovatti, “Une Fleur” by Fausto Salvi, “Robert M” by Veit Streitenberger.
