Fuori Salone 2009
Angélique DeVil. Eroticism and Design for Fuori Salone 2009
On the occasion of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan (48th edition, 22nd - 27th April 2009) Angélique DeVil, always looking for the most intriguing novelties, introduced in the concept store in via Cerva two exclusive moments dedicated to eroticism and design: “Godes Save the Queen” and “Le Boudoir”.
In “Godes Save the Queen”, conceived by Christian Ghion, famous international designers explore the theme of the erotic game and offer different interpretations of Plato’s quote: “It’s easier to discover a person through one hour playing than through one hour talking”.
Abdi, Mathilde Bretillot & Matt Sindall, Christian Ghion, Arik Levy, Hervé Matejewski, Benoit Méléard, Patrick Norguet, Olivier Védrine & Olivier Guillemin, Lorenzo Perini with Sara Caselli and Luca Fusani, Lolita Pompadour, Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc, Nathalie Tricot Guillaume Bick e Basile Huez create a series of sensual design accessories to fill our everyday life: sex toys to show, to wear, to compose and to use according to our personal fantasy.
The concept of “Le Boudoir”, conceived for Angelique DeVil by Stefano Manclossi & Laura Pessoni with Fabio Fornasier, comes from the idea of creating in the Boutique a special corner dedicated to a woman, a private place where sensual atmospheres are realized using the purity of glass and the poetry of light. A reserved place where only the closest ones are invited, a cradle where the woman can reveal herself, rely on special cares and discover moments of passion. Manclossi and Pessoni’s project hosts luxury object with a double function, aesthetic and playful, and welcomes the art of Fabio Fornasier, a glazier which uses the Murano traditional glasswork techniques.
